Included in your Walleye Charter

Open Air Mavericks provides the following for you to enjoy your trip:

  • All Tackle, including Rods/Reels & Nets
  • All required bait
  • USCG approved floatation devices
  • Cleaning and packaging of your catch
  • An opportunity to have a GREAT TIME on the water!

About your trip

A morning trip aboard the Rock ‘N’ Reel will start as early as you can. I really like the early morning fishing, but realize that everybody can’t make it to Bay City by 6:00 am. With that in mind, we will leave the dock per your travel schedule (by 8:00 for sure!). Afternoon trips are a bit slower and the bite is generally on the later side. We will leave the dock around 3 – 4:00 pm for a five hour trip (dock to dock), unless we have a limit in hand earlier!

Please bring:

  • A valid Michigan Fishing License, can be purchased online or at Meijer’s/WalMart on Wilder Road
  • Comfortable shoes, sandals or tennis shoes, as I require them to be worn at all times
  • Sunglasses for all members
  • Sunscreen
  • Camera to capture the memories
  • Light Jacket/ Rainwear – It is chilly in the morning and there is always a chance of rain
  • Your beverages and snacks in a small cooler- no glass please
  • Cooler to take home your catch
